A fire believed to possibly be caused by lightning has damaged much of a Hermitage home.
Heavy smoke could be seen coming from this home on John Hagar Road when the fire broke out Monday afternoon.
Crews battled the blaze in the rain. The fire started about the same time heavier storms rolled through the area.
The cause of the fire was not certain, but officials said it was likely caused by lightning.
