Many honored the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior a few days early including Lipscomb University.
The school held its annual MLK Diversity Breakfast Friday.
The event celebrated the social accomplishments of the civil rights leader and also educated people on just how important diversity and inclusion is in today's business community.
Rose Jackson Flenorl, Manager of Social Responsibility at FedEx, was the keynote speaker.
She shared the knowledge she has gained by overseeing the company's community outreach, and offered her advice on how to really celebrate Dr. King.
