Lebanon Police officials have asked for the public's help in identifying a man police said was involved in a shooting that critically injured one man in La Vergne.
The incident was reported Wednesday afternoon near Mountain Top Trail.
Officials with the La Vergne Police Department said the victim was shot twice, but was able to drive to a fire station on Waldron Road.
He suffered gunshot wounds to the arm and chest. The victim was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. He underwent surgery and is said to be in stable condition.
The man involved was described as a bald, 5' 6" tall, black man, weighing about 225 lbs with brown eyes. He is 39 Years old and has gold teeth.
Police said the vehicle he was using was described as a dark gray/black 2013 Nissan Altima with the front bumper cover missing and Tennessee tag# Y63-74S
Officials said he is wanted for questioning and could possibly armed.
