The person killed in a single-vehicle crash in Dickson County has been identified.
The wreck happened Sunday morning on Turkey Creek Road.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the driver was traveling west and veered off the road at the edge of the pavement.
From there, the vehicle struck a tree on the passenger side.
The driver, identified as 31-year-old John Cook, was hurt in the crash. His passenger, 23-year-old Warren Ryan, was killed.
Charges were pending in the case. Troopers said alcohol was a factor.
