A suspect was taken into custody after a violent smash and grab, thanks in large part to surveillance footage.
The incident happened around 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, October 5 at a BP station on McGavock Pike.
Due to great surveillance video, one of three suspects has been arrested. Police have identified the arrested suspect as Terry Clay Tarants.
The three used a big rock to shatter the large glass pane to get in and ransack the place.
They ended up making off with about $1,100 worth of cigarettes stuffed into a garbage bag.
Tarants has been charged with theft of merchandise.
