Eleven horses were killed over the weekend when fire broke out inside a barn in Gallatin.
Crews with the Gallatin Fire Department received the call late Saturday around 10:30 p.m.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, the barn was already heavily consumed by flames and the roof had already begun to collapse.
They were not able to rescue any of the horses.
Crews remained on the scene until about 3 a.m. Sunday.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. No additional details were known.
