A popular Nashville Bakery has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to make sure people have food on their tables this holiday season.
The Cupcake Collection's 12 Days of Cupcakes initiative will help provide 4,000 meals to those in need of food in our community.
The event has been something The Cupcake Collection's owner Mignon Francis said she and her family have experienced firsthand.
“Before The Cupcake Collection opened, our family was one that was food insecure, and so I understand that hungry people go to offices, sit in cubicles, put their children on school buses, and they know they have to eat at school. They are not only going to get that education, they got to get that meal too,” Francis said.
Anyone wanting to help out can purchase the special holiday flavors at The Cupcake Collection. A portion of those proceeds will be donated to Second Harvest.
