Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department opened an investigation after a juvenile was shot.
The incident happened in the 1500 block of Charlotte Avenue outside of Capitol Point apartments Saturday night.
Witnesses told police a 14-year-old accidentally shot himself in the leg.
He was rushed to the hospital. Authorities said his injuries were non-life threatening.
