Police said they’ve identified a 16-year-old as one of the suspects in a violent carjacking that took place in November.
Zackari Tennant, age 16, was identified in the incident that left a 32-year-old Nashville woman with gunshot wounds.
Authorities confirmed a Juvenile Court arrest order was issued charging Tennant with especially aggravated robbery and unlawful gun possession.
According to an investigation, Tiffany Hindman was shot outside her Apache Trail apartment November 20. She told police she had been confronted in the breezeway by two people armed with guns who demanded her car keys.
As the two ran off with her keys, they fired shots at her, leaving her seriously wounded. The suspects then fled in her Nissan Sentra. The car was recovered in South Nashville in January.
Police have asked the public to be on the lookout for Tennant. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
