A 19-year-old has been killed in a crash involving two vehicles in Davidson County.
Officials have identified the victim as 19-year-old Nicholas Jeremiah Warren.
The wreck happened just before 1 a.m. Saturday on Bell Road near Cane Ridge Road.
Authorities said Warren was traveling west in a Mitsubishi Spyder when he allegedly turned left in front of a Ford Explorer which was also traveling west in the lane beside Warren.
The Ford was being driven by 26-year-old Joshua Taylor.
According to the preliminary investigation, the Ford then hit the driver’s door of Warren’s vehicle.
Officials confirmed Warren was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
Taylor was taken to General Hospital with non-critical injuries.
According to reports, the crash was caused by the improper turn by Warren.
Officials said Taylor was believed to have been drinking before the crash, so a blood sample was taken for analysis by the crime laboratory.
