Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed a 19-year-old was killed in a crash in Hickman County.
The wreck happened before 6 p.m. Saturday in the 6800 block of Pinewood Road.
Reports stated 19-year-old Dakota L. Austin, of Dickson, was driving a 2004 Yamaha R6L motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve.
The motorcycle left the roadway, overturned, and came to rest against a tree.
Authorities said Austin was killed in the crash. He was wearing a helmet. Further details were not released.
