Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department made two arrests following a shooting in Madison, but reports stated there was still one more person out there they haven't caught yet.

Authorities have not been certain yet who they’re searching for, but they’re one step closer after making two arrests.

Reports stated 19-year-old Dantarius Johnson and an unidentified teenager were both charged in the crime that left an 18-year-old fighting for his life.

The shooting happened in the early morning hours of August 22 at an apartment complex in Madison on Rio Vista Drive. Officers described the incident as a home invasion.

They said three men forced their way into the home and shot Ledarius Haynes in the abdomen as they all fought in the living room.

The three men then ran away after stealing a small amount of money.

Haynes was rushed to the hospital where doctors saved his life.

The search for the third, unidentified suspect remained ongoing.
