Two men were arrested after allegedly burglarizing three businesses in Lebanon.
Officials with the Lebanon Police Department said both 31-year-old Tony Lynn Williams and 31-year-old David Shane Ballinger were taken into custody Monday.
Authorities responded to an alarm in the 100 block of South Maple Street at MAN Motorsports Race Shop around 2 a.m. Monday.
An officer heard two people talking when he arrived on scene, and when he spotted the men, they fled on foot.
The officer pursued them till they split up, which was when he went after Williams. He found Williams crouching in a fence line and took him into custody.
Nearby Williams, the officer discovered a laptop, cord, and two crowbars.
Officials said Williams and Ballinger had burglarized three businesses in Lebanon, including MAN Motorsports, Full Throttle Auto, and Ed’s Towing. The stolen items included electronics, power tools, and vehicle parts.
Williams and Ballinger had also allegedly vandalized the camera system and eight vehicles at Ed’s Towing.
Authorities confirmed Ballinger was later found and taken into custody in Lebanon.
Both faced charges of burglary, vandalism, and evading arrest. They were booked into the Wilson County Jail.
