Officers were called to a scene north of Nashville overnight after two men were involved in a crash and then apparently fled in a waiting vehicle.
The collision happened around midnight Tuesday, on Clarksville Pike near Lloyd Road.
Witnesses told Metro police the vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and rolled onto its side.
At that point, two men reportedly got out and fled in a waiting vehicle. From there, that car traveled north on Clarksville Pike.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. It’s not known if they were injured.
