Two teenagers were taken to an area hospital after a late-night shooting in south Nashville.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the teens got into an argument shortly before midnight Wednesday on 1st Avenue South.
One of them left, retrieved a gun, and started shooting. At that point, the other person also got a gun and returned fire.
Officers later found them about a half-a-mile apart and rushed them to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. One was grazed in the leg, while the other was hit in the back.
