Barbeque pit masters from around the world gathered in Lynchburg for the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbeque.
Teams competed in seven categories, including chicken, pork, beef brisket, dessert, and Jack Daniel's sauce.
The champion was set to take home $10,000.

Those at the event even pardoned a cow, chicken, and pig before things got underway.
