Three men have been charged after allegedly making returns on items that were purchased with counterfeit bills.
Officers with Hendersonville Police were called to a store located on North Anderson Lane on Sunday.
Loss prevention employees told police that the three men making the returns were the same three that were in the store on May 13 when they allegedly passed the counterfeit bills.
David Emmanuel Villarreal, Diego Martin Simeone and Hector Enrique Bivar Da Rocha – all from Argentina – were arrested and charged with criminal simulation.
Police believe they may have committed similar crimes in the Middle Tennessee area and possibly other states.
Their bond was set at $100,000.
