An estimated 40,000 people were expected to be on-hand as Mexico takes on New Zealand at Nissan Stadium this weekend.
The match was scheduled for 5:36 p.m. Saturday, with gates opening at 3:30 p.m. It's expected to last about two hours.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police want to remind commuters to downtown to be aware of increased traffic during this time.
According to police, a traffic plan similar to that used for Titans games will be in effect. However, the Woodland Street Bridge will not be closed before or after the match.
Following the match, only westbound lanes of the Korean War Veterans Bridge will be open to traffic.
The NFL’s bag restrictions will be implemented for this event, as well. For more information on the policy, visit the NFL’s website.
