Families of murder victims in Middle Tennessee came together to remember their loved ones and bring attention to their unsolved cases.
The organization Partners in the Struggle hosted its 7th annual "Unsolved Murder Day."
Crosses were given out to participants, and photos of murder victims were on display at the dinner in Nashville.
Organizers said the goal was for families to encourage each other and keep working to get justice.
“What I wanted to do basically is encourage them to not give up hope,” said Earl Jordan, of Partners in the Struggle. “A lot of times when you have a murder of a loved one, that is hard enough, when you don't have any justice, that brings another level to your bereavement.”
The Partners in the Struggle organization has supported the families of murder victims for the past 18 years.
