Formal charges have been filed against three men accused of impersonating police officers.
According to court documents, the three suspects allegedly used bogus badges to trick their victims.
Formal indictments were handed down after a security guard recognized the three suspects from a media release as those who robbed him.
The guard said the three robbed him at knifepoint while he was stopped at a traffic light. They allegedly got away with his badge, flashlight, baton, phone and money.
They're accused of using that badge and pretending to be police officers to rob two other individuals.
All three have been indicted criminal impersonation and felony robbery.
