Co-defendant Jaborian "Tip" McKenzie was called to testify first and discussed how Vandenburg passed out condoms and "made sure he was in control" before the alleged incident.
He testified Thursday that Vandenburg and Cory Batey subsequently came up with a cover-up plan.
“… Ashamed, embarrassed of what happened that night, I'm sorry I let it happen,” he said.

Vandenburg's former roommate, Mack Prioleau, also took the stand. He was in the room the entire time, but said he did not do anything to intervene.
Under oath, Prioleau testified, "I heard Mr. Vandenburg say he couldn't get an erection due to cocaine use."
The alleged victim took the stand as the state's last witness. She said she had known Vandenburg for about two weeks before seeing him that night at Tin Roof bar.
She told prosecutors that Brandon Vandenburg gave her a blue drink, but she didn't remember finishing it. She said the next thing she remembered was waking up in an unfamiliar room.
She went on to describe the next morning where she tried to peice by peice put together what happened that night.
She found her car parked outside the hall, one of her shoes in front her town house and that her hair had been wet sometime during the night.
Vandenburg apparently told her that she had gotten sick in his room and that he had to take care of her all night. She said she felt terrible and embarrassed about it.
