An 18-year-old has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old at Lincoln College of Technology.

Adam Anderson, age 30, was shot and killed on May 1 in the parking lot of Lincoln College in the 2400 block of Emmett Avenue.

Reports stated on Thursday that 18-year-old Keanthony Jones was taken into custody and charged with first degree murder.

Authorities said at the time of his arrest Jones was free on bond for an aggravated robbery charge concerning an incident that happened in April. In that case, Jones was accused of robbing an 18-year-old acquaintance at gunpoint on South 8th Street.

According to reports, Jones refused to speak with detectives Thursday afternoon.

Further details were not released as the investigation remained ongoing.
