No injuries have been reported after a boat caught on fire at Elm Hill Marina.

According to reports, a couple of guys saw the fire and towed the boat away from the marina on Bell Road Tuesday afternoon with a tow boat.

“It's one of them things that you just do and think about it later,” said JR Adcock, of the Nashville Boat Club. Adcock was one of the men who helped tow the boat away to keep the marina safe. “When I lay down tonight, I’m going to talk to myself about what I did and if I’d do that again, but that’s what we do when imminent danger is there. You jump in and take care of it.”

Emergency crews arrived by boat to put the fire out. It burned for a while as many watched from the dock.

No word had been released as far as the cause of the fire. The investigation was ongoing.
