Police were called to an area Best Buy store overnight after two men broke in through the building’s roof, causing a considerable amount of damage to the store.
Alarms started going off at the store on Gallatin Pike in Madison around 2 a.m. Thursday.
Officers with Metro Nashville Police responded to the scene but didn't see any broken glass.
After further investigation, they climbed up onto the roof and saw where one or two suspects cut a hole in the roof.

From there, it appears they tried to slide down a pole and then fell at least 9 feet to the floor. At that point, they ran to the back door and left the area.
Sky 5 flew over the scene and showed damage to the building, which could cost the business thousands of dollars.
As of right now investigators don't believe the suspects took anything.
