Liquor Store Burglary Suspects Identified

Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department have identified two men suspected to be responsible for two liquor store burglaries.

Roger Dale Black, 50,  and William A. Black, 52, were given outstanding warrants charging them with multiple counts of burglary, theft and vandalism for Sunday morning’s break-in at JT Liquors on Murfreesboro Pike, and Tuesday morning’s break-in at Discount Liquor & Tobacco on Richards Road. 

The brothers were under investigation in connection with other South Nashville commercial burglaries.

The brothers have not been arrested, and efforts to locate them have been unsuccessful.

Detectives have asked anyone who may know where they are to call the Emergency Communications Center at 615-862-8600.

Roger Black was on parole and has multiple convictions for burglary in Davidson, Cumberland and Bledsoe Counties.  William Black had multiple Davidson County convictions for burglary, aggravated assault and escape.
