A large car fire narrowed Interstate 65 down to one lane for a short time Friday night.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 6:30 p.m. near Armory Drive, exit 79.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the drivers suffered minor injuries.
However, both cars caught fire, making a huge blaze on the interstate causing three lanes to be temporarily closed.
All lanes were reopened around 7:45 p.m.
