A Dickson County woman has been accused of misusing the finances of a woman who was in her care.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said agents began investigating Kimberly Niemisto back in December.
Niemisto allegedly used the patient’s debit card to make purchases without his or her consent.
She was an employee of Right at Home In Home Care & Assistance at the time.
According to investigators, Niemisto spent $872 on groceries and other items to support her and her family.
The 43-year-old was later indicted by the Dickson County grand jury on one count of fraudulent use of a debit/credit card.
She turned herself in to authorities on Monday and was booked on a $2,500 bond.
