Turning pavement into green space. That's what's happening near Casa Azafran.
A celebration and ground breaking were held Friday for what will be Azafran Park.
It's a joint venture between Casa Azafran and Metro Parks.
The project will transform a car lot into a park. Once the park has been completed, it will also be home to the Roots and Routes International Coin mural using coins from various countries.
