Santa may not be scheduled to come for several more months, but some of his helpers have been hard at work in July.
The Moving company "Two Men and a Truck" had their first Christmas in July Coat Drive event Saturday.
They were parked outside of Thrift Smart so people could drop off new or gently used coats for the kids of Park Avenue Elementary School.
"We have had a lot of brand new, even designer name coats come in today, and so it's going to be awesome to be able to give kids these things that are going to be theirs and new and make them feel good and comfortable so they can succeed," said Jenni Hargrove, of Two Men and a Truck.
This year's goal was 100 coats, and Hargrove said they already plan on making the drive a yearly event.
