Nashville’s Christmas tree was raised Monday afternoon at Public Square Park.
The 45-foot Norway spruce was donated from a family in the Woodbine Community.
The Parks Tree Crew used an NES supplied crane to “swing” the tree into place and secure it at the Plaza.
Park Police escorted the tree up 2nd Avenue and controlled traffic at Public Square during the tree’s installation.
The Nashville Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will be held December the 4th at 6 pm.
