Nashville city officials and Davidson County officials spent Tuesday morning giving back to those in need.
Mayor Megan Barry and other county officials volunteered their time at the McKendree United Methodist Church.
They helped prepare and served Thanksgiving meals to the community.
As part as the district's commitment, more than 1,200 meals will be distributed.
