Clerk Stabbed, Truck Stolen At Advance Auto Parts

A local store clerk was taken to the hospital after being stabbed, and authorities said the suspects also stole a truck from the business.

The incident began before 8 p.m. Saturday at the Advance Auto Parts store in the 300 block of North Gallatin Pike.

Reports stated two male suspects went into the store and stabbed the clerk in the abdomen and neck.

The clerk was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the suspects were wearing masks. They stole cash and a truck from the business.

According to reports, the truck was found not long after the stabbing less than two miles away at Archwood Drive and Roosevelt Avenue.

No suspect description was available. The investigation remained ongoing. Anyone with information has been urged to contact police.
