A crash shut down a portion of Interstate 24 in Rutherford County.
The wreck happened in the westbound lanes near Exit 70 (Almaville Road/Lee Victory Parkway) before 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Details had not been released regarding the cause of the crash or if any injuries were involved.
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the roadway was closed to westbound traffic for more than a hour. The right lane was blocked to eastbound drivers.
Crews said the roadway was reopened just after 9:30 p.m.
