A crash involving multiple vehicles shut down a portion of Interstate 24.
The wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 59 for Bell Road around 3 p.m. Saturday.
Details had not been released regarding the cause of the crash or if any injuries were involved.
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said the roadway had been closed in the area to eastbound traffic. Shortly after 4 p.m. crews began diverting traffic slowly around the crash.

Westbound drivers were experiencing rubbernecking delays.
Authorities said the roadway was cleared by 5:05 p.m.
