Officials were seen digging the vehicle out and pulling it up the ramp. Officials had confirmed the car was stolen and added no one was in the water.
Those with the Hendersonville Police Department said the car had been stolen the night of February 4 in Hendersonville.
A passerby on a boat in the lake Saturday saw the car halfway submerged and called police in Gallatin. The case was then trasferred to police in Hendersonville.
Authorities were not sure how long the car had been in the water.
No further details were immediately available.
