It's a tale of survival, a miracle in Greenbrier. A dog was hit by a train and survived.
The yellow lab named Buddy was out for a walk with two of his owners. The teen girls were walking with Buddy along the edge of the train tracks.
The family said Buddy was hit from behind as he was trying to outrun the train. He then laid down between the tracks as the train went over him.
"I just thought he was dead," Buddy's owner Jada Borum said.
Buddy suffered some severe injuries, but has been expected to recover.
He lost his tail and had large gashes on his face, but somehow, Buddy survived.
"I'm thankful he's alive, he's amazed me," she said.
