With school starting for Metro students, school resource officers and crossing guards have some important reminders for drivers.
Remember to be prepared for extra congestion since there will be new traffic patterns in place at some schools, and be aware of school zones.
“You don't want to do anything at the spur of the moment that can change your life forever cause if you hit a child that's what's going to happen,” said Officer Mark Bennett. “You're going to change your life immediately from that moment on forever."
