Authorities in Sumner County have asked the public’s help in catching a suspect who robbed an elderly woman of her purse.
The incident happened Sunday in a parking lot on West Man Street in Hendersonville.
Officials with the Hendersonville Police Department said the 82-year-old victim was about to get into her vehicle when a man grabbed her purse and ripped it from her arm.
Two witnesses saw the ordeal and chased the suspect from the parking lot. One of them snapped a photo of the suspect’s car.
