The famed Alfred Stieglitz Art Collection has returned to Fisk University.

The exhibit was set to be unveiled Thursday night after two years at the Crystal Bridges Museum in Arkansas.

The collection included pieces by the famous painter Georgia O'Keeffe and her late husband, Alfred Stieglitz.

O'Keeffe gave the collection to Fisk University in 1949.

Back in 2012, a judge approved a deal for the financially strapped school to sell a 50 percent stake in the collection.

As part of the deal, the university received $30 million, some of which helped preserve the art.

The collection was returning as Fisk celebrated its 150th birthday.
