A family of five has lost their home in a late-night fire, just one day before Thanksgiving.
Crews with the Nashville Fire Department were called to the scene on Coggins Pass around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters said they did what they could but the home was a total loss.
The cause of the blaze was not known.
So far, investigators don't believe the fire is suspicious. However, they will be back out to investigate.
It’s unknown if the Red Cross has been called in to assist.
