Fingerprints Lead Police To Waffle House Robber

Metro Nashville Police have caught the man they say robbed a Waffle House at gunpoint.

Robert Johnston, age 36, has been charged with aggravated robbery in the July 7 incident on Sidco Drive.

Police said Johnston ordered a drink before pulling a gun on the waitress and demanding cash.

He got away with $520.

Police dusted his drink cup for fingerprints and said it came back a match for Johnston.

He's was jailed on a $80,000 bond.
