Crews have determined that an early morning fire that tore through a North Nashville home may be suspicious.
The incident was reported before 5 a.m. Thursday at a residence on 24th Avenue North.
Officials with the Nashville Fire Department said the home was fully involved when they arrived on the scene.
No one was home when the fire started. The blaze was so large that a neighbor called 911.
Flames were said to be shooting from the windows and the front door.
Fire investigators said the blaze could be suspicious but that has yet to be officially confirmed.
None of the residents have returned to the home since the fire broke out. Two dog crates were found outside with the doors open.
Crews remained on the scene and worked to put out any lingering hot spots.
