Members of the Murfreesboro Fire Department dealt with a tough rescue.
An injured construction worker was lying 25 feet down in a concrete tank structure at the water treatment plant in the 2000 block of Blanton Drive..
Just before 2 p.m. Thursday, crews climbed into the reservoir, got the man into a basket, and used a crane onsite to raise him out.
A firefighter, identified as Charles Powell, was harnessed to the basket during the rescue.
