A former coach and teacher in Dickson County has been charged with multiple counts of rape.
In a release Thursday morning, officials with the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office said 46-year-old John Thomas Mullinicks has been indicted by a grand jury.

He's been charged with four counts of rape, four counts of rape by an authority figure and one count of solicitation of a minor.
Mullinicks, a former teacher and girls’ basketball coach at Creekwood High School, was placed on leave back in February after allegations of inappropriate conduct with students emerged.
Investigators said he resigned from those positions on April 18.
His bond was set at $100,000.
