A former nonprofit director has been indicted for theft after she allegedly stole thousands from her organization.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 30-year-old Nicole Hulbig has been accused of stealing more than $10,000 from a service dog rescue nonprofit called RRR Service Dogs.
Agents began investigating Hulbig on December 12, 2014.
From January 2013 through April 2014, the organization collected $92,000.
Hulbig has been accused of using more than $10,000 of that on personal items and services not related to the group.
On January 4, she was indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury on one count of Theft over $10,000. She was booked on a $25,000 bond, Tuesday morning.
