Officers with the Franklin Police Department said they’re investigating a stabbing.
Police said the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday at an apartment complex on Midwood Street.
When officers got there, a resident who had been stabbed numerous times was on the ground, and police said the man who stabbed him was there, as well.
He had called 911 and waited for help to arrive. Police said the two knew each other.
The victim has been listed as stable at the hospital, and police said they’re investigating if this could be a case of self-defense.
So far, no charges had been filed.
