A Fort Campbell soldier has been arrested in Pennsylvania and charged with attempted murder.
Police said Thomas Stanko and a friend were walking around 1 a.m. Saturday near the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, about an hour outside of Pittsburgh, when they were approached by three other men.
Authorities said they got into a fight, and Stanko allegedly fired five shots, hitting one of the men in the arm and another in the leg.
Stanko was also charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
