Employees of a south Nashville gas station disrupted a would-be robber’s plans after they refused to let him near the register.
The incident was reported around midnight Thursday at the M Market on Thompson Lane near Nolensville Pike.
Officals with Metro Nashville Police said the suspect entered the store and demanded everyone get on the ground.
Five people, including three customers, were inside at the time.
At some point, the robber ordered the clerks to let him behind the bulletproof wall to access the register; however, they refused.
The suspect left the store empty handed, but not before being seen on surveillance video.
Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
