There has been a push to make living in Nashville even better.

Wednesday, national urbanologist Gabe Klein unveiled his plan to improve the city's infrastructure, including green space, sewer system, and transit.

Klein teamed up with the Urban Land Institute of Nashville and the Metropolitan government for the "Gear Up 2020" project.

The plan included 33 recommendations and smart goals with the emphasis on the people who live here.

"Fundamentally it's really all about people,” Klein said. “It's all about the citizens of Nashville as Mayor Barry said. It's about quality of life."
