A good Samaritan was struck by a car while trying to break up a fight in Nashville.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the incident happened on Rosa Parks Boulevard.
The victim was traveling north when the car in front of him stopped. Two women got out and started fighting in the middle of the road.
As he was assisting one of the women, the other allegedly got back in the car, hit the gas and plowed into him.
He was knocked to the pavement and taken to an area hospital, where he’s expected to recover.
Police have arrested one suspect, identified as Amanda Martinez, and charged her with aggravated assault.
